It is permissible to pay in monthly installments if it is done as an advance payment of Zakat before the completion of the hawl (one lunar year). Upon the completion of the hawl, what has been disbursed must be calculated, and the remaining amount must be paid immediately. However, it is not permissible to delay the payment of Zakat and pay it in installments after the completion of the hawl.
