The answer

The questioner will be rewarded twice for her charity: the reward for charity and the reward for upholding kinship ties. However, this charity is not considered part of because it was not given with the intention of Zakat. She must therefore pay Zakat, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Actions are but by intentions, and every man shall have but what he intended."
