It is permissible to keep the gold medals that women adorn themselves with. As for plated medals from which no gold separates when exposed to fire, it is permissible for both men and women to use them; otherwise, it is not. Manufacturing them initially is absolutely impermissible. is not obligatory on them unless the gold that separates from them reaches the (minimum taxable amount) and a hawl (one lunar year) has passed on it. In estimating this, one should refer to experts.
