The answer

Sins are a cause of calamities and spiritual distress. Repentance is the remedy for the worries and debts you are experiencing, so you must hasten to it before your appointed time runs out. There are prophetic supplications to relieve worry and debt:

1. Supplication for worry and grief: "O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your male servant, and son of Your female servant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your judgment upon me is assured, and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You with which You have named Yourself, or taught to anyone of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or kept exclusively in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the dispeller of my sadness, and the remover of my worry."

2. Supplication for paying off debt: "O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful provisions against Your unlawful ones, and enrich me with Your bounty, so that I need no one but You."
