What is the connection between creed and conduct?

Sound creed leads to good character. The more upright a person's creed, the better their character. As for deviation in creed, it leads to moral corruption, intellectual chaos, diminished intellect, and weakened faith. Ahl al-Sunnah (definition) wal-Jama'ah (the People of the Sunnah and the Community) enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong. They establish the rituals of Islam with the rulers, advise the nation, and believe that believers are like a solid structure and a single body. They also enjoin patience, gratitude, and contentment with divine decree. They call for noble character and good deeds, and forbid evil ones, all by following the Qur'an and the Sunnah.
