What is the importance of 'Aqeedah (Islamic creed) for the individual and society, what means did the Qur'an use to firmly establish it in the hearts of Muslims, and is it an innate disposition in the human soul?

There is no happiness for the individual and society except by following the correct creed. Indeed, humanity's need for creed is greater than its need for food and drink. The Holy Quran has employed several methods to firmly establish the creed, including: comparing the beliefs of monotheists and polytheists, and calling for contemplation, reflection, and the exercise of reason. Both textual and sensory evidence have converged to show that creed is an innate human disposition, and that Allah created His servants upon monotheism.
