The one who says: "Faith is قول (a saying/utterance), عمل (an action/deed), and اعتقاد (a belief/conviction)," and then says: "Indeed, action is a condition for the perfection and validity of faith," his statement is contradictory. This is because action is part of faith, not a condition for its validity or perfection. Faith is قول (utterance) by the tongue, اعتقاد (conviction) by the heart, and عمل (action) by the limbs, increasing and decreasing with disobedience.
