What is the difference between faith and righteous deeds?

Linguistically, faith (Iman) means affirmation. Technically, it is a statement, an action, and a belief. As for righteous deeds, they are a necessary component and an integral part of faith, and Allah has commanded them in many verses. Righteous deeds are those performed sincerely for Allah and in accordance with the Sunnah.
