It is prescribed to treat the evil eye with (exorcism), which consists of what is from the Qur'an, the , the beautiful names of Allah, and the prescribed supplications. It is permissible for you to perform Ruqyah on yourself or for someone else to perform it on you. There is no harm in going to someone who adheres to the lawful Ruqyah. It is also recommended to perform Ruqyah on oneself with the two surahs of seeking refuge (Al-Mu'awwidhatayn), as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to do.
