Magic and the Evil Eye

• Can the evil eye be the cause of early despair and inability to conceive, and should the suitor be informed of this, and is there a cure for this condition?
• Is it permissible to swear falsely out of fear of the evil eye?
• What is the ruling on placing a black dot on a child's forehead with the intention of warding off the evil eye, and is that considered shirk (polytheism)?
• Is there evidence in "The Two Zahras" — Surat Al-Baqarah and Al 'Imran — for their particular benefit in ruqyah?

• Do a person's suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder, along with hair loss and poor eyesight, indicate affliction by the evil eye? And does legitimate ruqyah (exorcism) bar the one afflicted by the evil eye from entering Paradise without reckoning?

• Is it permissible to psychoanalyze the personalities of the prophets based on what is mentioned in the Quran, taking into account the saying of Prophet Jacob, "Indeed, it grieves me that you should take him, and I fear that the wolf would eat him while you are heedless of him," and his recommendation to his sons to enter through separate gates, and what might result from that, such as describing them with attributes like "anxiety" and "doubt"?
• Can an unbeliever afflict others with the the evil eye?
• Do the repeated negative events a person experiences, such as aversion to studying, people's changing perception of beauty, and contracting an incurable disease, mean that God is displeased with them?
• Is it confirmed that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was afflicted by magic? And how did he deal with magic and the sorcerer?
• What is to be done if the one who casts the evil eye fears informing the afflicted person or conveying his ablution water to him, for fear of a great evil occurring? Is supplicating for the afflicted person sufficient, or is the one who casts the evil eye sinful for not giving him the remnants of his ablution water? How is the water poured on the afflicted person without his knowledge? Is it sufficient for the afflicted person to pour the water on himself?
• Is it permissible to pray behind an imam who writes amulets that some people believe save them from sorcery and the evil eye? And what should one do if it is not permissible, given that there is no other mosque in the village?
• Why was it not reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) commanded those afflicted by touch (from Jinn), magic, or the evil eye to consistently recite the morning and evening remembrances (adhkar), or that he awakened his household for that purpose, despite our knowledge of their benefits?
• Did I err in publishing a fatwa on the prohibition of lying in jokes on a WhatsApp group, knowing that the goal is to generalize the benefit?
• What is the reason for a girl's delayed marriage, despite the marriage of those younger than her, and the failure to complete the marriage after engagement, and is there a solution to avoid spinsterhood?
