There is no harm in hanging Qur'anic verses or chapters on the wall if the intention is for learning, admonition, or remembrance, provided that the place is respectable. However, if the intention is for protection from jinn, the evil eye, or similar things, then it is not permissible because it has no basis in Islamic law and is not mentioned therein.
