Is it permissible to supplicate for one's husband and son in their absence with the wording: "I commend my husband and my son to God's protection, and I seek refuge with the perfect words of Allah from His wrath, His punishment, the evil of His servants, and from the whisperings of devils and their presence"?

It is prescribed for a Muslim to supplicate for his brother in their absence with whatever good he desires in this world and the hereafter. Such a supplication is answered, and the one supplicating receives the like of what he prayed for. It is permissible for a woman to supplicate for herself, her husband, and her son using the plural form, such as "نعوذ" (we seek refuge), or to seek refuge for her husband and son, just as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to seek refuge for Al-Hasan (definition) and Al-Husayn with the perfect words of Allah from every devil, harmful pest, and envious eye.
