What is the difference between possession, touch, and sorcery?

"Lubs (possession) and mass (touch) refer to the jinn afflicting the possessed person, while sihr (magic/sorcery) involves knots and incantations through which the sorcerer aims to inflict harm upon the bewitched, and the sorcerer may use the devil (shaytan) for this purpose."
