Is it obligatory to change the names of my two daughters, Noha and Soha, because they are not among the names of the female Companions (Sahabiyat) or the righteous women, based on the belief that names have an impact on their bearers?

There is no objection to naming a female "Nuha," as "al-nuha" means intellect, as stated in the Holy Quran: (Indeed, in that are signs for those of intellect (uli al-nuha)) [Quran 20:54]. And in the noble Hadith (definition): (Let those of you who are mature and intelligent (ulu al-ahlam wa al-nuha) be close to me). There is also no objection to naming her "Suha," as it is the name of a small star. The fact that these two names are not among the names of the female companions (Sahabiyat) does not necessitate changing them, for what is important is that the name is not ugly or contrary to Islamic law.
