Is "the Everlasting" one of God's Most Beautiful Names or an attribute of His?

There is no evidence in the Qur’an or the authentic Sunnah (definition) that "Al-Daim" (the Everlasting) is among the Beautiful Names of Allah or His attributes. The Names and attributes of Allah are tawqifiyyah (restrictive), meaning we affirm only what Allah has affirmed for Himself and what His Messenger has affirmed. The Name of Allah "Al-Akhir" (the Last), which is mentioned in the Qur’an and Sunnah, encompasses the meaning of perpetuity, i.e., the One who is not followed by extinction.
