The answer

There is no religious impediment to loving praiseworthy moral attributes, even if they originate from a disbeliever, such as justice and fairness. It is permissible to respect those who possess these qualities, and praising them for these qualities is a matter of justice. The Prophet (peace be upon him) praised the Alliance of the Fudul and lauded the characteristics of the Romans.

However, one must not overlook their neglect of the most important right, which is belief in Allah, nor their disregard for the boundaries of sound morals.

The prevalence of evils and the spread of vices in a country bring about Allah's punishment, and the affliction then encompasses both the righteous and the wicked.

Residing in lands of disbelief is not permissible except for one who can observe the rituals of his religion and is safe from temptation. It should be avoided due to the associated prohibitions and dangers.
