What is the ruling on accepting marriage to a woman who stipulates living in the land of the disbelievers, taking into account the prophetic hadith: "I am innocent of every Muslim who resides among the polytheists," and is this condition considered contrary to the law of Allah based on the hadith: "Every contract that contravenes the law of Allah is shirk?"

It is permissible to annul an engagement if the woman does not accept marriage unless she resides with him in a land of disbelief. Indeed, annulling it may be obligatory if it is not possible to observe religious rituals, based on the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "I am free of any Muslim who resides among the polytheists." They asked, "O Messenger of Allah, why?" He replied, "Their fires should not be visible to each other." As for the other mentioned hadith, there is no original source for it.
