Does God accept the repentance of one whose obsessive-compulsive disorder led him to prostrate to other than God, bearing in mind His saying, Exalted is He: "Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him"?

Allah accepts the repentance of His servant for any sin, including disbelief (kufr), as stated in His Almighty saying: "Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'" As for the verse, "Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills," it refers to one who dies upon polytheism (shirk (definition)) without repentance. And obsessive-compulsive disorder does not hold its sufferer accountable for what he does under its influence.
