Is there any mention in the Prophetic Sunnah indicating the desirability of adjusting an inverted shoe?

There is nothing in the Sunnah (definition) to indicate the desirability of turning over an inverted sandal or the reprehensibility of leaving it inverted. And people rushing to adjust it out of fear of something disliked is impermissible because it is an ill omen (tashā'um), and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Al-Tiyarah (superstitious belief in omens) is shirk (definition) (polytheism)." If they do so out of reverence for the sky, then this reverence has not been prescribed by the Sharia (definition).
