Belief in angels is one of the six pillars of faith. They are honored servants of Allah, created from light. They do not eat, drink, or sleep. They glorify Allah day and night without ceasing. They do not disobey Allah in what He commands them and they do what they are commanded. They are entrusted with the administration of the heavens and the earth, and no one knows their number except Allah.
