Isn't the statement regarding the infallibility of prophets from polytheism prior to prophethood a refutation of the Quran, in light of the verses that mention Abraham (peace be upon him) saying: "This is my Lord" upon seeing the star, the moon, and the sun, and the verse that describes Adam and Eve as having "attributed partners to Him in what He gave them," and the verses that indicate that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) did not know the Scripture or faith before his mission, such as His (the Almighty's) saying: "You did not know what the Scripture was, nor what Faith was," and "And He found you misguided and guided you"?

Prophets are infallible from (associating partners with Allah) and disbelief before their prophethood. As for inferring otherwise from the verses of Surat Al-An'am concerning Ibrahim (peace be upon him), and the verse in Surat Al-A'raf concerning Adam and Hawa (peace be upon them both), and the verses in Surat Ad-Duha and Surat Ash-Shura, these have been answered and the most valid interpretations of their meanings clarified in previous fatwas.
