The answer

Yunus Emre (d. 720 AH) was a Turkish Sunni poet of great stature in Turkish heritage. He adopted the general Sunni doctrine and believed in the concept of wahdat al-wujud (unity of existence). His poetry clearly shows the influence of Al-Hallaj. His poetry is also characterized by an exaggerated use of human love and wine terminology to express the love of God, and it exhibits the shath (ecstatic utterance) of Sufism, which prioritizes ultimate reality over and venerates saints.
