Did Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) seek refuge from 'ishq (passionate love)?

Some narrations, though with a weak chain of transmission, relate that Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) sought refuge from 'ishq (passionate love). 'Ishq is an excessive love that takes over the heart, and it is considered a disease among the ailments of the hearts that corrupt religion, intellect, and body. It approaches shirk (polytheism) if the heart becomes enslaved to the beloved. Therefore, it is legislated to seek refuge in Allah from it.
