Ghusl (definition) is not necessitated merely by the meeting of the two circumcised parts (khitanayn) between a male and another male, nor by the disappearance of the glans (hashafah) into the mouth, as long as ejaculation has not occurred. This is because the act of penetration (ījāl) – which is a euphemism for sexual intercourse necessitating ghusl – has not been realized.
