The answer

For women, there are two reasons for (major ritual impurity requiring ): the meeting of the two circumcised parts (khitanayn) and the disappearance of the glans (hashafah) into the vagina, even if ejaculation does not occur; or the emission of mani (seminal fluid) due to a wet dream or foreplay. The proof for the first case is the Prophet's (PBUH) saying: "If he sits between her four limbs and then exerts himself, ghusl becomes obligatory." And in a narration by Muslim: "Even if he does not ejaculate." And his saying: "If the two circumcised parts meet and the glans disappears, ghusl becomes obligatory." The proof for the second case is the of Umm Salamah and Umm Sulaim: "Is ghusl obligatory upon a woman if she has a wet dream?" He said: "Yes, if she sees fluid." And the hadith of Anas: "If a woman experiences in a dream what a man experiences, then she should perform ghusl."
