What is the interpretation of the verse: "The Dye of Allah! And who is better than Allah in dyeing? And we are His worshippers" and what are the lessons learned from it?

"Sibghat Allah" (the Dye of Allah) means the religion of Allah. It has also been said to mean the natural disposition (fitra) of Allah, or circumcision, or the ritual bath for one who wishes to embrace Islam. The religion was called a "dye" because its effect appears on the one who adheres to it, and because it clings to him just as dye clings to a garment. And His saying: "And to Him we are worshippers" means obedient and submissive to Allah, and that the religion of Islam is the best. The Muslim should be proud of his religion and adhere to his community and be circumcised, and that the baptism of Christians is invalid.
