What is the difference between religion (din), way (millah), and dye (sibghah)?

The dye is Islam. The religion was metaphorically called a dye because its effects and characteristics become apparent on the religious person, just as the effect of dye appears on a garment. It was said that it is the nature of Allah (fitrat Allah) or the way of Allah (sunnat Allah). It was also said to be circumcision. It was also said that when Christians have a child, they immerse him in yellow water to purify him, so Allah informed them that His religion is Islam, not what the Christians do.
