Is it established in the Sunnah that a newborn should be dressed in new clothes that have not been worn before, and what is the legal ruling on that?

"There is no indication in the Sunnah (definition) or in the actions of the Salaf that a newborn is named at birth. Rather, the Sunnah is to pronounce the adhan (definition) in the right ear upon birth. As for naming, if a name has already been prepared for the child beforehand, he is named with it. Otherwise, the Sunnah is to name him on the seventh day, and to sacrifice the aqiqah (definition) for him on the same day, shave his head, and give charity in silver equal to the weight of his hair. And whoever is blessed with a newborn is urged to thank Allah and ask Him for the righteousness of his offspring."
