Are the tears that fall during prayer upon hearing the Qur’an from an imam with a beautiful voice due to awe of Allah, or are they a whim and love for beautiful voices? And is it a condition that the person experiencing them be of a high degree of faith and piety?
To what extent is it valid to consider extraordinary phenomena that occur to deceased righteous individuals, such as the illumination of their faces or the emanation of a pleasant fragrance, as miracles (karāmāt) from Allah, or are they rather machinations of Satan to enhance belief in the deceased, especially considering that those who were superior, like Abu Bakr and Umar, did not experience such things, and that miracles are meant to affirm the one to whom they occur, not to guide others?
Is it permissible to sit next to one's mother during prayer to recite the Tashahhud to her, so that she can repeat it after me until she memorizes it, and what should be done if she refuses?
Is prolonged wandering of the mind regarding matters of marriage and sex considered a sin and persistence in it, and a weakness in faith, especially if it increases after performing acts of worship? And is the sin doubled given that I am a female student of Islamic knowledge and reside in Mecca? What is the way to struggle against these thoughts and achieve Allah's pleasure?
