The basic principle regarding the use of cosmetic tools, including makeup, is permissibility, based on the Almighty's saying: "He it is Who created for you all that is in the earth." However, their use becomes forbidden if their definite or predominant harm is proven, based on the : "There should be neither harming nor reciprocating harm."
