The question

Is it permissible to draw without a neck, or to draw a figure wearing a head covering that conceals the neck, or to draw a veiled girl whose head covering conceals the point where the neck separates from the head, or to draw poses or clothing in which the separation between the head and the body is not visible?

The answer

It was previously explained that the ruling on drawing animate beings is permissible if what would sustain life, such as the chest or abdomen, is severed, or if the head is separated from the body. So, if what is drawn cannot sustain life, there is no harm in it.
