Does God's mention of blowing into the Trumpet—which resembles a horn—indicate the permissibility of using horns or bells?
Matters of the Hereafter are not used as evidence for Shar’i rulings in this world, for the Hereafter is the abode of recompense and reckoning, not the abode of assigning religious obligations. The obligations of humans differ from those of angels, and not all obligated humans are equal in everything. Therefore, it is not permissible to rely on the trumpet or similar things to permit bells and the like in this world. And it is not necessary that something dispraised cannot be resembled by something praised, for the sound of revelation is likened to the ringing of a bell, despite the prohibition of its accompaniment. The trumpet [Soor] is a horn, and it was mentioned in the story of the beginning of the using the word "trumpet" [Booq], which is the instrument used by the Jews for their call to prayer. The principle is that all musical instruments are forbidden, except what the has exempted, such as the drum [Duff].
