What is the way to distinguish the correct opinion amidst scholarly disagreement on jurisprudential issues, such as the 'awrah of women, plucking eyebrows, and the ruling on music, especially when each side presents its evidence?

The obligation for a woman to cover her face and hands is a relied-upon opinion among scholars, especially when there is a fear of fitna (temptation/strife). Plucking the eyebrows is forbidden because it is considered altering Allah's creation, unless it is for the necessity of treatment or if the hair is excessively disfiguring. A Muslim must research the rulings of Sharia (definition) and ascertain the strongest opinions among scholars, and it is not permissible for them to act except according to what they know to be Allah's حكم (ruling) on the matter. Scholars have prohibited seeking out concessions and adopting weak opinions.
