The answer

Allah created man to worship Him alone, and He sent messengers to clarify what is lawful and what is unlawful. Paradise is for those who follow them, and loss is for those who disobey them. Therefore, it is obligatory for a believer to submit to the command of Allah and His Messenger without hesitation. The divine wisdom behind prohibitions is to avert harm and bring benefit. The default for things is permissibility, and the circle of prohibitions is very narrow. Drawing is permissible as long as it is not of living beings. Knowledge of what is lawful and unlawful can only be obtained through the people of knowledge.
