Why would a girl who is observant in her worship feel a spiritual void and a sense of God's displeasure, and could sins such as listening to music and speaking with non-mahram men be the cause, and what is the remedy for this feeling?

Sins harm the heart, strip away the pleasure of obedience and intimate communion [with God], and cast a person from bliss into misery, just as they cast the two parents out of Paradise and Iblis from the dominion of the heavens. They also foster hypocrisy in the heart, like music does. Therefore, one must fear Allah, avoid speaking with foreign men and listening to music, and hasten to repent from sins, for delaying repentance increases the heart's ailment and makes repentance difficult.
