Is it permissible to say: "And make light from beneath us"?

The saying "and place light beneath us" is permissible, as it was reported in the of Ibn Abbas that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, supplicated: "O Allah, place light in my heart, ... and place light beneath me."
