Is saying, "Exalted be your Lord, the Lord of Might, above what they describe. And peace be upon the messengers. And praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds," after the obligatory prayer considered an innovation (bid'ah)? And is there any hadith concerning it? And what is the grade of this hadith if it exists, especially since it is recited aloud in the mosque by the person in charge of the mosque?
Abu Ya'la, Abu Dawud Al-Tayalisi, Ibn Abi Shaybah, and Abd ibn Humayd narrated from Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri, and Al-Tabarani narrated from Ibn Abbas, and Abd Al-Razzaq narrated from Ali ibn Abi Talib — mawquf (stopped at him) — that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say after the : "Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Might, above what they describe. And peace be upon the messengers. And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds." This has an origin and is supported by multiple narrations. Al-Suyuti graded it as (good), and Al-Haythami authenticated its narrators. Therefore, there is no harm in worshipping with it, and it falls under the category of virtuous deeds, even though sound hadiths suffice over weak ones. As for the congregating of worshippers to perform in unison, that is an innovation (bid'ah).
