The answer

It is recommended for a Muslim to supplicate to Allah with comprehensive prayers for the good of this world and the Hereafter, those narrated in the revelation from the Qur’an and , and to avoid newly invented, elaborate supplications. This is based on Aisha’s statement: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) preferred comprehensive supplications and abandoned others.” The supplication mentioned might be considered an transgression in supplication, and it is sufficient for a Muslim to supplicate that Allah expands his provision and blesses it for him.
