What are the conditions for a prayer to be answered, and what are the signs of its acceptance or non-acceptance, and is it permissible for a Muslim to ask Allah to grant him something better than his current job?

Among the conditions for a prayer to be answered are: supplicating Allah alone, not supplicating for a sin or the severance of kinship ties, and supplicating with a present heart, certain of the answer. There is no harm in supplicating for a better job or a higher position, and this is not considered an transgression in supplication. As for the signs of a prayer's acceptance, whoever humbles himself and persists in supplication, and fulfills the conditions for its acceptance, it is hoped that his prayer will be answered. However, this cannot be definitively asserted until it materializes in reality.
