The answer

There are two established forms of supplication for leaving the home, narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: The first is what Umm Salama narrated: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from going astray or being led astray, from slipping or being made to slip, from oppressing or being oppressed, and from acting ignorantly or being treated ignorantly." The second is what Anas ibn Malik narrated: "In the name of Allah, I have put my trust in Allah, and there is no might or power except with Allah." And it is said to the one who recites it at that time: "You have been guided, sufficed, and protected," and the devils turn away from him.
