What is the wisdom behind the post-prayer remembrances other than increasing reward, and are they related to the number of Allah's Beautiful Names and their count of 99?

Every ruling in has wisdom, and it may be that part of the wisdom behind the prescription of (remembrance of Allah) after prayers is to compensate for any shortcomings and lack of devotion that may have occurred during them. That is why the first of the adhkar is istighfar (seeking forgiveness), which indicates the worshiper's belittlement of their own عمل and their exaltation of their Lord. We have not found a connection between the number of adhkar after prayer and the number of Allah's Most Beautiful Names.
