How can one embrace Islam and deal with fanatical Christian parents who mock Islam?

The questioner is urged to proceed with embracing Islam by uttering the two testimonies (Shahadatayn), with emphasis that this will save him from perdition, confusion, and the torment of hellfire, and will admit him into the abode of peace.
