Is it permissible to benefit from an invitation system on a website, where 3 cents are obtained for each advertisement as a gift from the company, by creating multiple accounts to invite oneself and increase the balance?
The default ruling is the permissibility of inviting people to permissible services and goods for a fee, so long as it does not involve deception or fraud. If fraud occurs, such as inviting fictitious individuals or repeatedly inviting the same person through devious methods, then the earnings are unlawful. This is because advertising aims to attract real invitees, and fraud contradicts the customary conditions of advertising, as Muslims are bound by their conditions. Money acquired through deceit is unlawful and must be returned to its owners, or if it's not possible to return it, then it should be given as charity for public welfare or to the poor.
