Is it permissible to add a cultural library for children in a secluded part of the mosque, containing diverse books specialized in Islamic culture and purposeful Arabic literature, knowing that there is a summer program for teaching the Holy Quran and its sciences?

It is permissible, according to Sharia (definition), to place books on Islamic culture, Arabic literature, and other beneficial books in the mosque and read them therein, because it is a place for knowledge and learning. Hassan ibn Thabit used to recite poetry in the mosque in the presence of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Scholars have stipulated the permissibility of using the mosque for anything that serves Islam and benefits Muslims.
