What is the ruling on returning or giving sweets containing animal fats to non-Muslims?

If a gift contains prohibited substances, such as pork fat, it is not permissible to eat it or to give it as a gift, because the products of non-Muslims often contain prohibited ingredients. It is preferable not to accept such gifts. However, if the gift is permissible and free from prohibited substances, it is permissible to accept it from a disbeliever, and it is preferable not to refuse it. It is also permissible to give a gift to a disbeliever to win over their heart. If you have doubts about a gift, be careful to avoid anything that is questionable.
