Reciting Surat Al-Mulk saves its reciter from the torment of the grave and intercedes for him on the Day of Resurrection until he is forgiven and enters Paradise. It prevents the torment of the grave from its reciter. It was narrated in a that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, a from the Qur'an - thirty verses - interceded for a man until he was forgiven, and it is 'Blessed is He in whose hand is the dominion'." It was also narrated: "There is a Surah in the Qur'an, which is but thirty verses, that argued on behalf of its companion until it admitted him into Paradise, and it is Surah Tabarak."
