Is it permissible to recite Surat Al-Mulk for the deceased so that it may save him from the torment of the grave?

It has been established in theHadith that Surat Al-Mulk intercedes for its companion—meaning its reciter—until he is forgiven. There is no evidence that it intercedes for one for whom it is recited, but some verifiers have mentioned that dedicating the reward of reciting the Qur'an to the deceased is permissible, as are charity, Hajj, and supplication for them.
