What is the ruling on the cloth band remaining around the mouth of the deceased after burial, which was placed to prevent his mouth from opening at the time of death?

It is recommended to tie a bandage around the deceased's mouth to keep it from opening, as stipulated by scholars. For example, Al-Nafrawi Al-Maliki said: "It is recommended to tie his jaws with a wide bandage, securing it from above his head so that his mouth closes." There is no harm in leaving it on after burial.
