Tell us about the عرض (presentation/reckoning) in the Hereafter, its manner, and its form.

"Presentation" in the Afterlife has two meanings: general and specific. The general meaning includes all creation, with their pages [of deeds] laid bare; nothing about them is hidden from Allah. As for the specific meaning, it pertains to the believers, and it is the presentation of their sins to them and their acknowledgement of them, along with their concealment and forgiveness for them. The verses and hadiths confirm that people will be presented before Allah, and they will be questioned about their deeds and what they put forth. The disbelievers will be exposed before all witnesses, while the believers will be made to acknowledge their sins and then they will be forgiven. They will be questioned about their lifespans, their wealth, their bodies, and their knowledge.
