What is the duration of each period of the Prophet's intercession—peace be upon him—for those who have entered Hellfire, what is the maximum length of their stay therein, and how do their bodies endure the torment?

Intercession for the perpetrators of major sins among the people of Hell is established by authentic and continuously transmitted (mutawatir) hadiths. Their duration in Hell is known, and Allah Almighty knows who among them will remain there the longest.

As for their bodies enduring the torment, they do not endure it; rather, they suffer intensely. Every time their skins are burned, they are replaced with new skins so that they may taste the torment, and they scream therein from the severity of the pain.
